Former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux's college career, which has seen more time linked to disciplinary issues than playing time, came to an end Friday morning when he was dismissed for reportedly failing a drug test.

LSU coach Les Miles announced Perrilloux's dismissal in a news release.

"Ryan was given every opportunity to be a part of this football team," Miles said. "In the end, he didn't fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete. We hope that a new beginning will benefit him."

Miles said he would not comment further on the matter.

"I wish Ryan and his family nothing but the best in any of his future endeavors."

Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at LSU.

Les Miles is an absolute idiot for doing this. There is no doubt in my mind that come midseason, he will regret this decision completely. For every person who hated Perrilloux, happy birthday. (Continued…)

Good for Les Miles!

Perilloux does not deserve a place on the team if he can't follow the rules that the rest of the team follows!

Thank God.

Good riddance, in my opinion. He was like a cancer, and it's a good thing Les removed him when he did. He's this generation's version of Cecil Collins. (Continued…)

Finally! It took him long enough, but Les Miles finally did the right thing!
RP had no respect for LSU or the football team, or the many perks and priveleges that he was given during his time here. (Continued…)
