Vincent, Ewing apply for athletic director position -- 12:07 p.m.

Four additional candidates have applied to replace outgoing Athletic Director Skip Bertman, according to documents provided by the athletic director search committee.
Herb Vincent and Mark Ewing, both LSU senior associate athletic directors, submitted their applications and will be considered at a search committee meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday.
There are now three in-house applicants for the athletic director position, as Senior Associate Athletic Director Verge Ausberry applied in January for the position.
Craig Angelos, athletic director at Florida Atlantic University, and William Weidner, former deputy athletic director at the University of Central Florida, will also be discussed at Friday's meeting.
